A bit more about me…

Hi, I’m Laura, the face behind “Dog walks with Laura” and I have been walking the streets of Tynemouth & North Shields with your lovely dogs for over 3 years.

Dog Walks With Laura was set up back in March 2023 when my family and I relocated back home to Tynemouth from Australia. I have two young daughters but the heart of the family, and the reason I started working with animals 10 years ago, is Buddy, our 14 year old Pug.

With previous experience working in veterinary clinics overseas, and three years of dog walking in Tynemouth and North Shields, I can assure you that your dogs will be in very safe hands with me.

Jasper, a black cocker spaniel, on Longsands beach
Dog Walks with Laura are the absolute best, the most personal service for my lovely cocker spaniel. The photo and video updates are such a treat to receive when he's out with Laura. Would absolutely highly recommend. Love, love, love.

Oscar with a red ball
Laura started walking my 5-year-old staffy Oscar a couple of months ago. She's been amazing, and most importantly, Oscar absolutely loves her. She makes sure he gets proper exercise but puts his safety first when the weather isn't ideal. Trustworthy and flexible. We're both looking forward to many more walks.

A local dog walker for North Shields, Tynemouth and Cullercoats

I'm a dog walker based in Tynemouth, and I only take on dogs I can reach easily. That means North Shields, Tynemouth and Cullercoats. Keeping the patch small is how I stay on time and how your dog gets a proper walk rather than a long van ride.

Most walks are solo, just your dog and me, or in a small group of two or three dogs who already get on. Depending on where you live and what your dog enjoys, that might mean Longsands and King Edward's Bay at Tynemouth, Cullercoats Bay, Northumberland Park, or the streets and green spaces around North Shields. I keep dogs off the beach in the busiest summer hours and stick to the tide times.

If you're looking for dog walkers in North Shields or nearby and you're not sure whether I cover your street, send me your postcode and I'll tell you straight away.
